Dual-Use Opportunities: Unlocking Maritime Technology for the Defence Sector
The project aims to identify and develop the conditions for more small and medium-sized maritime companies to participate in national and European research-based defence projects – including European Defence Fund (EDF) initiatives – by leveraging existing commercial technologies with dual-use potential.

How can we use new knowledge and technology to lift the Norwegian fishing industry further? An exciting interdisciplinary consortium from Møre and Romsdal has joined forces to give the industry as a whole a real boost.

As part of the National maritime export initatiative, this project aims to bring Norwegian maritime suppliers closer to the global negotiating tables in the cruise and ferry market.

Developing new energy storage technology is extremely important, but at the same time very capital-intensive, with long development times and high risk. With this project, we will help entrepreneurs who have new solutions in the field to have the technology tested and verified, as well as to build market knowledge and networks.
